5 Signals That Your Girlfriend Is Cheating
Do you have a funny feeling that something's not quite right with your relationship? Gut feelings mean something – your girl may be cheating on you. On top of that, you might want to keep an eye out for some other signs of cheating. Be careful, signs are that only – signs. You need evidence before you call her on it.
Have you seen a sudden change in appearance? Maybe a bit more glamorous? That could be an indicator she's cheating. An appearance change often accompanies a wandering girlfriend. Perhaps your girl was the “girl next door” type. Hmmm. Then, bang! She starts wearing fancy clothes and starts spending a lot of time in front of the mirror. Women want to be attractive, but they can start to overdo it if they've got something on their minds. Don't forget, she used to do her best-dressed self to show you what's right about her. Pay attention. Why is she dressing up so hot for a “night out with the girls”?
Is she starting to spend less time with you? That is a second indicator. Is “going out with the girls” starting to be more of a habit than it used to be? That's another sign that your girlfriend is cheating. A sudden change in schedule, like spending more time at work or with friends, could mean that your girl is cheating. Yes. If she's spending more of her free time without you, either something's wrong with the relationship or she's cheating.
Your third hint will be withdrawal of affection. Or if frequency of sex has diminished or disappeared altogether. Women are usually affectionate. So it's a little unnatural if she starts holding back in that area. All of a sudden her affection for you dwindles where once she was avid. That could also be a signal that your girl is cheating on you. Are there no more goodbye hugs or kisses? Does it seem like she's just not into holding you like she did before?
Perhaps the folks that you and your girl used to hang out with are starting to avoid you. That could be the fourth indicator. Perhaps when you try to talk to her best girlfriend, she doesn't have much to say or tries to melt away. How are her work friends treating you? Sort of cold? As always, the victim is usually the last to know, these folks may be side-stepping you to avoid conflict. Nobody wants to get between the rock and the hard place. Be gentle with those who are trying to bypass you, but do gently grab them by the arm and see if they'll talk to you about your girl.
When she starts telling lies to cover her tracks, that's your fifth and most obvious signal. Have you caught her being two-faced regarding some circumstances? Perhaps she has used some of her friends to help her cover her tracks. If somebody's cheating they must become liars so they can try to get away with what they're doing. Too much detail. Too much explanation. These are both obvious signs of a lie. The truth about lies is that they are the best tip-off that your girl is cheating on you.
If you've been keeping score and have checked off a number of the activities listed above, there's a pretty good chance that you're getting cheated. Watch what you do. These signs are pretty good evidence of what's going on, but you need solid evidence before you start making accusations. Otherwise, you'll be turning yourself into a big jerk.
