After a fair measure of time has passed, it's ok to give her a call just to experience how she's doing. If you started out as friends then the friendly relationship is the very thing that might possibly land you back together. Just be certain not to bring up your relationship on the 1st call. Keep fairly coolheaded about it and just permit her to understand that you're phoning to see how SHE is doing…not phoning because you're desperate to work affairs out with her.
