Bill Gates wrote a book, 'Business at the Speed of Thought' (2000) which received mixed reviews, although most of his 'predictions' came through; except for the 'paperless' economy. In this digital age, a plethora of business transactions (B2B, B2C, B2G) are completed with a point and click of a mouse. The Internet has shifted our personal paradigms and constitutions of how we think, feel and behave. For example, this blog is based on 'push-button' publishing. I can edit my postings, as and when I like, so my mistakes are minimized, and accuracy of content is enhanced.
How would you initiate that pace of business? Since we can travel at the supersonic speed, blink our eyes in a fraction of a second, and utilise fibre-optic cables to transfer information at light-speed, therefore we have the capacity and capability to do business with velocity and almost instantaneously. Yes?
And of course this is the same for women as well- him revealing too much can ruin your chances of true love because of the impression he has left you with.
Before you tell me that being open and honest, as early as possible, so he knows what he's letting himself in for, is what you subscribe to, let me ask you to look at it like this.
When you don't know someone and they tell you about a short spell they had in the local jail- it was a misunderstanding, he got drunk with a few friends and things got out of hand- what impression has he left you with?
Instead of being impressed by how funny it would have been at the time, you are left wondering whether he is really quite a reckless kind of guy and does he do stupid things like that often?
And then let's say you decide to tell him about how you dragged your key down the side of your ex's car because he ran off with your sister whilst leaving you at the alter, what impression will he be left with?
I completely agree about the importance of communication in relationships being the bedrock from which all successful relationships grow, but if you reveal too much of who you are too soon then his judgement of you will be clouded by your past and he'll never be able to shake it
