Did Nerves Get The Better Of You On Your Wedding Day?
Even though my wedding was now well over 20 years ago, I still have such fond memories of my day.
Ultimately the wedding photos are the most important part of the day, because although we store a lot of knowledge in our brain, pictures are a constant reminder. I cherish my photographs, probably more so now as many of my close relatives are sadly no longer alive, so it is beautiful to look back at pictures of happy times when we were all together.
At the time of our wedding, we called upon the services of a Brighton Photographer. His portfolio was absolutely magnificent and he certainly knew his angles!
I know I am biased but I honestly believe he was the best Sussex Wedding Photographer we could have chosen. Of course, perhaps it could be something to do with the fact that he had such brilliant people to photograph that his photos turned out so well!
As soon as I met him though, I knew he was the perfect choice and he was immediately on my wavelength and knew exactly what I would be looking for.
I'm not at all flouncy and I certainly didn't want a pack of photos that didn't really show the real me. He delivered honest pictures taken straight from the heart, just as I had wanted.
I have some truly wonderful pictures of us all. It is strange that when looking back at our old photographs, how much fashion has moved on. It's not only fashion that is so different, but hairstyles as well. I can't believe that it was only 20 years ago that big hair was fashionable and clothing was right out there in your face. I really don't know what happened to my mum's dress sense or what she was thinking when she chose her outlandish purple outfit. She was covered from top to toe in purple and even had purple flowers in her hair. Mum looked absolutely fantastic though and now that she is sadly no longer with us, her pictures are even more important to me.
Of course, not all photographers are good and I suppose given the fact that some of them specialise in commercial photography, it can’t always be easy taking good pictures. At least when you photograph people, you can get them to laugh, what can you do to make a building more appealing?
