Now a days divorce case is commonly happening. Everyone knows someone who is divorced. Married couples may decide they want to end their marriage, so they may have to decide to separate from each other. This means that they will no longer be married and are then able to re-marry someone else if they choose to do so.

Divorce can happen for many reasons. Whether you agree or not, it's all the rage right now. It is a serious decision for a married couple to make. It not only affects their relationship, it can also affect their family's relationships. Married couples may also be mothers and fathers who have children together. These children may be profoundly affected by the decision of their parents.

Some religions and cultures continue to forbid it. Most societies, however, will accept this increasingly common choice. Instead, most societies offer moral and financial support and counseling to all of the people affected.

In 2010, divorce can make for some very interesting family dynamics, whether nuclear or extended. Many young kids grow up with single parents, stepparents, stepsisters or stepbrothers, half-sisters or half-brothers, Mom's new boyfriend or Dad's new girlfriend, or both at once if both parents are dating new mates at the same time. Or, of course, you could have a combination of all the above. There are many possibilities and variations. Young children may very well deal with complex relationships from a very early age. They would be challenging issues to deal with for any adult. The 21st century family is indeed a social science that is most interesting.

There is also a very interesting time to define marriage as a form of legally binding agreement. It used to be that all you needed to get married was a marriage license and a clergyman or judge to perform the ceremony. Considered fashionable even and since it's such a common practice today, pre-nuptials or "pre-nups" are a very popular addition to marriages. If and when couples separate, prenuptial agreements govern the disposition of property. They may even be as detailed and complex set of rules on how a couple should behave towards each other.

Consider this test. Do you know many divorced people? Consider your aunts, uncles, cousins, siblings, grandparents, parents and friends. Your co-workers, bosses, teachers, students, or employees. The people around you and those sharing your room. Your favorite celebrity, politician, writer, musician. I personally can name one in almost every category listed above except one. I tried this test to a friend, and I think I can name one of the most categories above.

Today, marriage is considered differently in society. What does it mean for marriage if they do not seem to work? Should someone get married without a pre-nuptial agreement? How would you approach being asked to sign a pre-nup? You like the idea of pre-nuptial agreements perhaps. Everyone will indeed be discussing this most timely topic in 2010.
