Breaking up doesn’t have to be permanent. Many people throughout the world who once decided to break-up or “take a break” or “separate” have gotten back together with their partners and are now happier than ever. So often, people just need a little time apart to realize how much they miss one another, love one another, and want to be together.

1. Constant Communication – If your ex is still staying in pretty constant contact with you, that is a pretty sure sign that they want you back. Communication from your ex may come in the form of phone calls, text messages, IMs, emails, notes, letters, etc and it may be mostly general stuff like, “Hey, how are you doing?” “What did you do today?” and “Did you have a good weekend?” but the strong writing between the lines here is that your ex is still thinking about you and still cares about you.
2. “I’ve Changed!” – If your ex is constantly telling you about how much he/she has changed, it is a good indication that they want you back. Especially if those “changes” in their life are things that you suggested while you were together.
3. Constant Questions – if your ex is constantly asking you (or your friends and family) about your life, then they are probably hoping to get back together.
4. If you are hanging out with your ex “as friends” and they make a lot of physical contact with you, even if it’s “by accident,” it’s pretty likely they want you back.
5. If your ex boyfriend or girlfriend starts engaging in activities they know you enjoy more often, it’s a good sign that they’re thinking about you and want you back. For example, if your ex suddenly starts golfing, (which you love), even though they always said it was “boring.”
6. If you ex calls you and plays romantic songs on the phone for your to “check out,” they probably want you back.
7. And finally, if your ex mentions frequently that they miss you and or love you, you can bet they want you back.
