My satellite navigation system has not only saved me immeasurable amounts of stress it has probably also saved my marriage, and my hair.
Before the days of affordable in-car satnav I would routinely find myself stressed and late for important business meetings as a result of taking a wrong turning or missing my motorway exit. And I would expect my lovely wife to adopt the role of expert map reader and navigator even though she really isn't very happy when reading maps. But the biggest benefit, by far, is that my long suffering wife is no longer expected to provide expert navigation when we are travelling together. This has made our holiday journeys much more enjoyable. We no longer end up arguing, on the verge of divorce with our nerves frazzled as she struggles to read the road map and I get irate because we've missed yet another turning.
Affordable satellite navigation technology is truly a wonderful, marriage saving technology that is also saving money, fuel and lots of arguments.
