The best way to do this is to have a discussion with the person asking them why they think you are cocky. This is because they will have a hard time admitting to you that they are actually jealous of you, they want it to seem like you have some negative attribute. You have to ask them for concrete evidence and if they cannot provide any, show them their logic is flawed.
