How to Mend a Broken Heart
Did you just get dumped and you're having a difficult time moving on? Are you interested in feeling better and continuing with life? These are the three greatest secrets I know that can help you move on.
First, treat yourself to something nice. Feeling bad is a common feeling after a breakup. Instead of being down and out, you should use that time to make yourself feel better and treat yourself with something nice. Pamper yourself to a pedicure, manicure. Get a massage and a new outfit. Getting a new sexy look can do wonders for your self esteem and help make you feel better. Doing these things can help you move on because instead of feeling miserable, you're doing something more productive with your time and help take your mind off your heartache. Pampering yourself helps boost the feeling of your self worth and value. Treating yourself has a big impact on your self-esteem and that is very important when you're are trying to heal your broken heart.
Second, be active and play sports. Moving your body and getting your blood pumping is a great way to improve your well-being and attitude. It has been scientifically proven that working out can improve your mood and boost your energy. A benefit from exercising other than an improved mood, you'll look more attractive and fit. You will attract more people by having better self esteem . On the plus side, you might end up meeting the love of your life or a new best friend. You might want to think about joining your company's kickball team or a women's softball league. It isn't hard to find a a team that's looking to recruit new members.
Third, go do something new. A great way to heal a broken heart is to explore the world and do things you've always wanted to do. Doing things on your own is very empowering too. After my ex and I broke up, I went camping with one of my best friends to a beautiful place in Washington. It was so moving to be on the beach at night with millions of stars high above us. Listening to the waves and looking at the stars made me feel that the size of my problems couldn't compare to all the problems happening in the world. You don't have to take a cross country trip from here to the other side of the country. You can explore local places that's not too far from where you live.
You should try to do these things to heal the hurt that you have. I guess what I'm trying to say with all these tips is that you should know your value and have self esteem and confidence to successfully heal the wound in your heart inflicted by your ex. We all know how miserable life can be after a break up, but being strong enough to move on with life and mend your own heart is what help us all to constantly grow as a person.
