Around half of marriages end in divorce. It can cause a lot of stress especially if you’ve got children. So, here are some things you should think about.
You might think there is nothing you can do to save your relationship but you can do something to save it. It doesn’t really matter what your spouse thinks but your [marriage/relationship] can be saved, it only takes partner to try and save it.
Here are 4 things to keep in mind to help turn your marriage into a strong and happy one.

Don’t criticize your spouse. The only thing you get out of being negative is negative. It might take practice to stop but it is well worth it. If you start saying negative things stop yourself. You know what they say. If you cannot say anything nice then you should not say anything at all.

try to remember when your marriage was positive. This might be hard to do but it can be a very useful tool. Sometimes you’re so mad, you can’t remember what you loved about your partner when you both met. This is where you have to try and remember these times.

Say positive things to your spouse. Realize it’s never a bad thing to show them you care. You may continually search for the negative things in your marriage but better things will happen for your relationship if you stop doing this.

Don’t put pressure on your spouse to discuss what’s not going right with the marriage. You really only need to let the other person know that you are concerned about where the relationship is going and you want to make it better. After you’ve done this tell them you will wait till they’re ready to talk about your [relationship/marriage] issues.
