Though it's a hard part to put in that letter, the moving on part is needed. It will be the best thing in the process of getting them to be your friend. Plus keep in mind that it may have been another person who caused the split up. In that case it may take a bit longer to win them back, but you should still be able too. Though you may want to consider that they cheated on you once and may do so again.
