Interesting Topics Among The Professors
Two of the youngest female professors were leaving campus for the weekend. They chatted on about the kids and the summer trips they wanted to take. They passed a boy both had taught and remarked on his noticeable muscle growth since last summer.
They change a lot in a year the professors agreed. They walked through the flowered campus past large trees. They had mostly decent kids on campus. The girls get a little too drunk sometimes. Outside of that things were pretty good.
They both remembered times when female students had pursued their professors. Hoping for a little romantic fling or some hoped for a higher grade. It happened every year.
They joked about being cougars now and would any students hit on them. They agreed they would have a hard time handling a situation like that. Hopefully it won't happen.
Nodding hello to a girl riding by on an expensive schwinn mountain bike, both thought of what this spring weather meant. It meant spring fever, daydreaming during lectures and outdoor barbecue and beer parties. That's what it meant to the students.
For them it meant reading and grading chores. They talked of how hard the exams should be this year. They griped about those students who tried to pass of a plagiarized term paper.
They cannot believe the kids would try to pass off a paper written by a professional freelancer as their own. Spending $300 for a paper is nothing to some of them. They are losing out on a good education though.
There were usually a few arrests on campus in spring. Drinking goes on in the dorm rooms too. Some of them could care less about education. They mused about the loss for the students.
Next topic was the Emo kids and their wild outfits. They dyed their hair black and striped it with pink and purple. The boys wear make-up and thick eye make-up. What characters.
The Goths are a dark and gloomy bunch. They are frightening both women agreed. Some are actually convinced they are vampires. Their sadness makes me afraid for them.
They went on to discuss suicide until they reached the parking lot. They said goodbye and the blond mentioned she found the best golf instruction book she wanted to go through before the weekend. She mentioned hoping the golf course was ready for a few rounds over the weekend. They parted and wished each other a good weekend off.
