Recently I received an email from a subscriber. He asks … I'm attempting to attract what I want but I continuously feel afraid and anxious. On top of that there is a lifetime of bad patterns of thinking, lack conditioning, low self-esteem and the tendency to hone in on my previous disappointments. What should I do? The Law of Attraction is a powerful tool for positive realization in your life.
For one thing, I highly commend this person for posing this question. Number one, he acknowledges that these are his active thoughts and feelings. A lot of people I know working with the Law of Attraction, especially the self-titled 'spiritual' ones, refuse to accept that they have any of this active in their energy. It wouldn't be spiritual in the end. Please!
It is essential to know what is happening in your thinking and take control of it. The fact that you think and feel this way indicates that it's present in your vibration. You'll continue to attract situations that mirror back to you circumstnaces to experience anxiety and dissapointment. Using the Law of Attraction is amazingly helpful for Relationship Attraction, and is not hard to understand.
Einstein said: No problem can be solved from the exact level of consciousness that manifested it. He was talking about releasing into the a higher order of being. Personally that means coming into Universal Love and Abundance, or the Divine unifying power of Source. Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could just press a button and let go and let God, as it's said? Simpler said than done a lot of the time for many of us. However, you can start by committing to a daily practice of looking for aspects of your life to be grateful for. Search for the love and kindness in your life as it is at this moment. That's a huge and immediate vibration raiser.
If you can work to be ok with your life you'll immediately be releasing resistance to what you desire. Do not worry that making peace with your current circumstances will attract more of it to you. It won't. But you'll be doing the very important step of releasing resistance. You see, constant thinking on your life causes you to create more of that same circumstance. So letting go a little and finding things to appreciate will soften your vibration. You cannot have your attention on something and exclude it from your vibration.
After you have clarified what you desire to attract into your life, the next step is to figure out what thoughts and feelings you truly have around the likelihood of your manifesting what you want. Is worthiness an issue? Is your track record and the past receiving your attention? I suggest writing down what is active in your beliefs and then making affirmations that soften little by little until you can imagine what it is like to already be experiencing what you want as if it is your present life experience.
