People do many stupid things when they are jealous. Sometimes jealousy makes them act in a bad way. They make themselves look foolish and immature when they show their jealousy. There a many triggers that can make these people act this way. Listed below are some ideas of what makes people jealous.
They may get desirous of something someone else has. This could be anything from a car to another person. A guy could be jealous of his best friend's girl friend or his buddies motorcycle. A girl could be jealous of a friend's relationship with another friend.
She is prettier than I am. How many girls have you heard say, I can't stand that skinny witch"? They may not have been so nice as to call her a witch but instead used some foul language. This is very childish behavior
People sometimes get desirous of the amount of attention someone else gets. They may think that this person is better liked since they all getting all of the attention. It does not matter whether this person is a friend, sibling, relative, or maybe even someone they do even not know. They are still jealous.
I wish she were not so happy. Some people get unhappy when other people are happy. They can not stand that other people may be happier than they are. Feelings like these lead to nothing but more unhappiness.
Now we know what makes people jealous. Although there are many more reasons, these are some of the most obvious ones. People who get envious of other people really need to take some time to observe there own behavior. They need to understand what is causing these types of irrational feelings towards other individuals. They need to look at how wonderful life can be when they stop measuring their happiness to someone else's distress. Instead of getting envious over other peoples things or happiness, they should try to be more comforting to those who have less.
