You've seen it before, a marriage breakdown. It may not have even been you, but maybe you're parents, or a friend's parents. Perhaps even a friend and their spouse. But no matter where you've seen a marriage breakdown, you will decide at that point it's something you will never hope to experience for yourself.

At that point in time you should sit down together and figure out what the real problems are. If they are something dumb, or something underlying even deeper. No kidding, and with very small occurrences of marriage breakdown problems you will not fight near as much. Play fighting is a way where you can have fun with your spouse, a way to release tension, but not serious tension. Where in a real fight can cause a marriage breakdown and possibly divorce after many situations that constantly arise. Play fighting is a great way to be close to your spouse and have humor in your relationship.
A major cause of marriage breakdown is cheating and sex. Two opposite problems, but they can lead to the other. A spouse, who is sleeping with another person, may stop having sex with his or her partner. Or maybe the sex was lacking first compelling one of the partners to go outside the marriage for sex. No that doesn't mean that cheating should be condoned at all. In fact before that step is made to go outside the marriage for sex you should split, or try and talk it out.
Sadly though many children will go through this divorce process, as they watch parents head down the road of marriage breakdown. Alarmingly, divorce seems to be so accepted by people anymore that many parents don't even seem to fight to save their marriages anymore. It's sad that an institution that was once held so high has gone to such a low level.
Working through a problem with your loving spouse no matter what has caused it is something we all want to accomplish. But at the points in our lives that these problems happen we may not feel like fighting. That's when this marriage breakdown will end up as a divorce.
Finally, nothing is worse than marriage breakdown. No matter what has caused it, you will need to fight to fix the breakdown. Getting past the tension to get your marriage back to the loving and caring you felt before. Never give up when noticing marriage breakdown problems though. Giving up too easily is something that will most definitely lead to a divorce. However, it does happen when only one spouse is willing to work past these problems.
