Reasons Why James Decided He Liked The Party
James knew the party was going to be starting soon and that Jane would be coming in to get him. He really did not want to go to the party this year, but he did not have a choice because Jane had been so good to him this year. However, he tried to fake sleeping to avoid having to go, but that only led to Jane coming into the bedroom and ripping the blankets off of him.
Jame decided to go ahead and wake up from the nap that he was faking and started to get dressed. He was not looking forward to the party because the last time he had decked her boss because of the comments that he had made about her. That led to Jane barely being able to maintain her job and that was only because she had begged to keep her job.
They were getting ready to leave the apartment when Jane turned around and dashed back inside. She had forgotten the one items she was supposed to bring and that was her pearl izumi shorts. While not really impressive these shorts had cost her a fortune and was something that she wanted to show to the other peoples dates.
James was standing next to the bar the entire night drinking the free beers that the boss had purchased. James knew that the party would start moving along faster with the more beers that he got into him.
That is when Jane's boss walked up onto the stage and announced that they would be doing something this year that they had never done before. That was give away some wonderful prizes to those people that decided to show up tonight. That caught James attention and the first item that was brought up on the stage was a mongoose mountain bike. He knew that the bike was worth a fortune just by looking at it and he hoped that him or Jane would win it.
The first prize went to Bob from accounting, but that was okay because the next prize was a pair of diamondback bikes. Those bikers would fit James and Jane perfectly. James started growing excited as the tumbler was going around and he knew that they would have a chance to win it.
James and Jane left the party a little bit later, but instead of hailing the taxis that would charge them money to get home they hopped onto their bikes. They knew those bikes would take them home and then back to work for a long time to come.
