Restraining Orders, The Unexpected Factor In Divorce – Part 2
In the first part of this two part series, we discussed three common reasons a father can expect to be served with a restraining order during a divorce. This article concludes the article.
4. The VAWA (Violence Against Women Act gives federal dollars to each state to establish professional victims organizations, whose main goal is to discriminate against fathers and continue the stereotype that the male population is abusive. That's even if we are good, innocent dads in a bad marriage. This law financially motivates the divorce industry to conduct needless actions against innocent dads.
5. The ex will simply watch the other party suffer because she's angry.
6. The former spouse wants to control the other party. Many ex-wives want their spouses to beg for their mercy. Fathers who care do not want to be absent from the lives of their children. They don't want to miss their basketball games, softball games, martial arts competitions and dance recitals. They don't want to miss their birthday parties and their graduations. They don't want to miss watching their children grow up. If a loving dad does not understand the process, his wife can use his financial independence, children, and freedom to get what she wants.
7. The ex-wife wants to prevent her ex from gaining a child custody modification when the child decides he or she wants to reside with the father. This stops the father from spending time with his children.
These are just seven out of thousands of motives that women have to get a restraining order against innocent fathers. It is important that fathers are prepared for this possiblity. Most believe this cannot happen to them. Don’t make this mistake. Once a person enters into restraining order hell it can take months if not years to correct the matter.
