Wedding Marquee Tips
So you are getting married soon and you are thinking about having a wedding marquee. How do you go about selecting the right one for you? There are a number of things for you to consider and I will be going through each one. I will talk about the size and structure, the exterior and interior and one of the most important things… the floor.
The structure is probably the first area you need to consider for your wedding marquee. This will be determined by 3 things. It must be large enough to accommodate all of your guests. Secondly, it needs to fit in the venue. Lastly, you must be comfortable with it.
Hopefully you are in a position where you have full flexible in selecting your wedding marquee. What I mean by this is you know when you are booking the venue whether it will fit your marquee in. I know for most of you that you will have already booked the venue first and will have to find a marquee that fits in.
Once you are sure about the structure you can then start thinking about the exterior. I am sure that the interior will be more important for you but given that you can have you say then why not? If the event will be a night event then you don't have to worry too much about the windows. If the view isn’t great you may want to give this a miss!
I bet you have been thinking about the interior since you decided you were getting a wedding marquee. You want this day to be perfect, it is one the of the biggest in your life. It is the thing that you want to get the most right. This is where you decide the colours and the linings to make it just right.
An area where a lot of people fail to look at is the floor. The floor is one of the most important bits. Make sure it is hard and level. You don’t want your guests disappearing into the ground! If you are having a dance floor then make sure the material is suitable.
